Wardman Sicklepatch - Snail rider.

The idea of this piece was to create sort of a fun fantasy picture of a house built on top of a snail. I also wanted to try a different type of sky then I've done. Sort of a "big weather" day where the there's light rays pouring through gaps in the clouds. It was a little cumbersome for me, and there're some flaws. I felt I had a lot of success with some new texture brushes I made for the snail skin.

Original Resolution 3200_2400. 12 hours in photoshop CS1, 15 if you count the sketches.

You've got quite an imagination there. I think what strikes me the most are the clouds, great job.

I just saw the vid as well and I got a say, that you're beyond good. Just the textures and the number of pratice drawings that you have done for this drawing is atosnishing!

I will be damned if you don't get your job as video games concept artist or the thing you're trying to get to.

This is really nice. The snails my favorite part. To make it pop more play with the light of the sky falling on the house (like highlights and such). It'll add nice depth. I'll need to start using more texture brushes. I'm prone to the default.
